We are looking for a seasoned Director of Human Resources in our New Zealand office

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for upgrading the Human Resources strategy following the company’s strategic trajectory, ensuring the alignment of HR operations with the diverse requirements of our global organization. We will be more than happy if you share your expertise to strengthen and polish the existing HR processes, including the development of HR policies and programs, talent acquisition and retention, diversity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, etc.

In a direct reporting relationship with the CEO, the Director of Human Resources will assume the role of a trusted advisor on all matters of HR, collaborating closely with senior leadership. The main goal is to cultivate a vibrant company culture and enhance employee engagement universally across all organizational levels and geographic regions.

Your duties as the Director of Human Resources will include:

  • Enhance and implement a cohesive global HR strategy in alignment with company objectives, fostering a unified company culture across diverse geographies
  • Design and implement comprehensive systems of material and non-material motivation
  • Efficiently manage budgets and resources to deliver on key HR initiatives, optimizing the allocation of resources for maximum impact
  • Provide leadership to the global HR team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of all HR services
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, and cultivate top-tier talent in a competitive global job market
  • Collaborate with senior management on organizational design and navigate change management initiatives
  • Amplify performance management systems that align with company objectives and promote high-performance
  • Establish and maintain HR metrics and reporting systems to measure effectiveness allowing for data-driven decision-making and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in New Zealand and across diverse international jurisdictions

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Human Resources 
  • Degree in Business Administration is desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
  • Experience leading the HR team in a global and culturally diverse environment
  • Professional background in the technology sector and expertise in technology-related fields
  • Strong knowledge of international labor laws, compliance issues, and best practices in HR
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data-driven HR decision-making
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

It will be a huge plus to have:
