Maria's diary in the Off Script event

The anniversary update of Seekers Notes features a new unique event, Off Script—a trophy road with valuable rewards. As part of the event, elements of the modern world will appear in Darkwood for the first time, including instant noodles, a laptop, and other finds . . . because the game's screenwriter, Maria, has turned into a talking mouse and ended up inside her own story. The characters will be able to ask her long overdue questions like, "Why doesn't the Flower Girl have a name?" and "How to defeat the Curse?" To learn the answers and help Maria get back home, players will have to help her collect her lost belongings. Bundles of avatars, frames, profile backgrounds, and more are available as prizes.

Art Gallery location

By its 10-year anniversary, the game has grown to include 145 locations with more than 6,700 hidden objects. If you add up the number of times players have found these objects, the total exceeds 173 billion! A new hidden object location, the Art Gallery, will serve as the setting for the Timeless Anniversary event as well as the epicenter of the temporal paradoxes and glitches that have appeared in past updates. These paradoxes will bring back, if only temporarily, classic characters like Colonel Hammerstrike . . . without his mustache! For the first time, players will find modern items among the hidden objects that feature references to the game's history and the game's team, like a mouse pad with an image of Darkwood and a photograph of the Mytona office.

Drawings and stickers on a card

Seekers Notes is more than just a game—it's a social hub. In just one year, the game added over 8,000 new guilds, bringing together like-minded players from around the world. The total number of created guilds has surpassed 102,000! The Darkwood Mail event highlights the popularity of the game's social component. First released on Valentine's Day in 2023, Darkwood Mail quickly gained popularity: since its release, the number of players who have taken part in the event has grown from 20% to 50%, thanks to updates, new designs, and an increase to the event time. In the anniversary version of the event, players can decorate cards with stickers and images for the first time. In total, over 20 million cards have been sent—and that number is still growing!

An Easter egg: a Gargoyle from the Past

For fans of Easter eggs and mysteries, the Secret Hunt is available now in Seekers Notes! 10 Easter eggs are hidden throughout the game, for which players can get rewards. Hints will be published on the game's social media pages: YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. At the end of the Secret Hunt, we'll host a prize giveaway on our official Facebook page.

Statistics window

On Seekers Notes' birthday, the game team often shares a variety of game statistics. For example, currently the game contains 16,807 quests, 145 locations, and 3,552 collections. What about player statistics? Soon, all Seekers will have a chance to track the timeline of their in-game achievements: how many items they've found, how many quests they've completed, how many guardians they've opened, what locations they've visited most, and so on.

The game's lead producer, Andrey Kononov, shared his thoughts and wishes: "Seekers Notes has come a long way, from its first steps to the large-scale changes and the unforgettable stories we've shared with players around the world. This is all possible because of your—yes, Seeker, your—interest, support, and engagement. We're proud of what we've achieved over these years, and we look forward with enthusiasm to continuing to bring you adventures, secrets, and a little bit of fun with each update."
